Travelling Coffee and the Return Brew

Mid week saw the family pile into the van and travel into the mountains for a short duration.  For my java on the travel, I took a single batch of Rwanda Kinunu Bourbon, roasted on February 4th along with my knee mill and Aeropress.  Besides some handle issues with the knee mill, the brews were all good.

This morning, I had a 4 day rested Bali Kintamani Arabica in a French Press.  The tastes were incredible!  The hotter flavors were spicy, almost peppery with some lingering aftertaste that was sweet.  The cooler flavors were more like a fine Sumatra or Sulawesi.  Great bean!

  1. I like that Bali blended with a little Kenya and a little Mexico.
