The Mokha

Last night, I roasted a batch of Yemen Mokha Haimi and Sumatra Gayo.  Both to FC, but the Yemen a bit further than the Sumatra.  This morning, I ground and brewed the Yemen in a FP with water briefly off of boil.  The steep was about 2.5 minutes.  Poured and wow!  Amazing body and spice.  Not much sweetness, but an amazing cup.  The Nisan I take to work seemed to miss some of the spiciness, but was still nice, preserving many of the hints, albeit muted, as it cooled.

Just when I was looking for a more well-bodied cup than the lightly roasted Oaxaca of yesterday, there it was!

Solo Deo Gloria,
