Had my first of the Gayo Tanah Tinggi this morning. It was roasted on the 14th of May to a Full City, about 450F. Brewed in a French Press. It made a nice, sweet cup. There was body, but not the overwhelming jungle body of which I’ve become accustomed with Indonesian coffees. That’s not to say it wasn’t there. I’m also accustomed to the body developing after several days rest; here, the rest was about 2 days, but quite nice nonetheless. I’ll need to roast more for a resting experiment.
